- My former Ph.D. student Miralem Mehic received the second place for his dissertation Using Quantum Key Distribution for Securing Real-Time Applications in category Information Technologies in a competion within consortium of universities in Moravian-Silesian region PROGRES 3. In the competition, the committee evaluated the best selected Ph.D. dissertations defended in 2017 in universities of Progres 3 consortium.
